Beverly Hills Market Gossip:

The Last 12 months have been a very active for high-profile real estate purchases here in Beverly Hills!

Jennifer Aniston bought troubled real state developer Robert McGuire’s Bel Air house for a reported $21 million. It was originally listed by in 2008 for $29 million stayed on the market for 514 days off and on through 2011, then was relisted for about 5 million less Hand sold in five weeks. Aniston Sold her 10,000 square-foot Beverly Hills home for $36 million. She had purchased it in 2006 for $13.5 million. It set a local price per square-foot record!

In October Simon Caldwell paid $15.5 million for a pocket listing in Trousdale that last sold for $4.6 million back in 2004.

Christina Aguiler’s home on Doheny Road has been on the market for 11 months at $13.5 million with no reductions after having bought it from Ozzie and Sharon Osbourne for $11.5 million in 2007.

Jeffrey Katzenberg of Dream Works listed his home in the Beverly Hills flats for $9.4 million yet purchased the 6 acres Simon Ramo (of TRW fame) estate and Trousdale for $35 million in 2009, knocked it down and he is almost finished building a new architectural estate.

Vera Wang bought a new century modern in Beverly Hills for $9 million from real estate investor Steve Hermann.  He paid $5 million in 2008 and then spent 3 million remodeling it.

In Holmby Hills, Lionsgate entertainment chief John feltheimer sold the home he bought in 2009 for $9.8 million to a Russian soccer player for $14.4 million.

425 Martin Lane – asking $10.9 million sold for $4.6 million.

72 Beverly Park –  asking $25 million sold for $16.5 million.

Paramount chairman Brad Grey bought in Holmby Hills for $18.5 million and put it back on at $23.5 million.

In Beverly Park a European businessman bought a 20,000 square-foot contemporary sight unseen for $16.5 million and is now asking $25 million without having done any work on it!

Beverly Hills Condo sales:

1 unit sold at the Montage for $4.4 million that was 2300 sqft.

1 unit on Wilshire at the California for sold for $3.6 million that was 1100 sqft.

1 unit sold at the Century in Century City for $6 million that was that was 1300 sqft.

Some of Los Angeles’s biggest sales were:

Candyland, Candy Spelling‘s 56,500-square-foot Manor asking $150,000,000,  has been sold to another wealthy socialite, British heiress Petra Ecclestone, in an all-cash deal for $85 million.

3350 Stone Ridge Ln. in Los Angeles sold for 13.675

910 Beverly Park in Beverly Hills sold for 13.8 million

530 South Mapleton Dr. in Los Angeles over 14.4 million

427 N. Carmelina Ave., Los Angeles sold for 12,223,977
